Introduction to Mathematica
Here are the most recent set of Phys 230 labs. The files are Mathematica notebooks which must be opened via Mathematica. They contain descriptive information, worked examples and exercises to be completed by the students.
- Lab 1 (introduction)
- Lab 2 (functions and lists)
- Lab 3 (plotting)
- Lab 4 (differentiation)
- Lab 5 (integration)
- Lab 6 (programming 1)
- Lab 7 (programming 2)
- Lab 8 (data processing)
- Lab 9 (optimization)
- Lab 10 (linear algebra)
- Lab 11 (complex analysis)
- Labs 12 & 13 - time for students to work on term projects
- Lab 14 - term project "show & tell".
