Since coming to Brigham Young University I have developed a one semester course in Particle Physics. Over several years I developed a text:
Structure and Symmetry in Particle Physics
It includes several appendices that introduce tools of theoretical physics. These include index notation, Lie Groups and Algebras, Green Functions, and some classical field theory. I hope that students find them useful as they develop the skills they need to participate in particle physics research.
