The Department of Physics and Astronomy provides class-specific teaching assistants to help students in many of the larger courses. In most cases, these teaching assistants provide the best method for getting personalized help with a given course. We also encourage students to work with their fellow students on their physics courses.
The department does not provide personal tutors. If you feel you need more help than the class-specific teaching assistants provide, you can look into the BYU Tutoring Services, a free service run through the Center for Service and Learning. Through TutorTrac, you can find tutors for your classes. Tutors can work with a group or one-on-one.
